Will C. Wood High School is a collaborative learning community of students staff and families. Our mission is for each student to graduate fully prepared for college or a meaningful career, with the ability to think critically and creatively in order to make a positive impact in society and the global environment.

Scholarship Opportunities for 2017 Graduating Seniors

Every year Will C. Wood offers our seniors scholarship opportunities.  Some of these scholarships come from local merchants, business service groups, clubs, and professional organizations and others are from within our own school.

The Individual Local Scholarships require their own individual application for each scholarship which can be found in the Scholarship Cabinet (bottom drawer) in the WCW Library.  For information on these local scholarships please click on the following link Individual Scholarship Brochure.  Deadlines for these scholarships vary and are listed on each application.

Scholarships that are listed under the Common Application Scholarships use a Will C. Wood Application that can be found in the Scholarship Cabinet (bottom drawer) in the WCW Library or by clicking on these links Common Scholarship Brochure, Will C. Wood Common Scholarship Application Packet .  Deadline for these scholarships are Monday, April 3, 2017 by 3:30pm.

Senior Disney Trip

  • Seniors that are registered for the Senior Disney Grad Night Trip only have a month left to pay the trip off in full. There is a payment due on Friday, February 10th for those students doing the payment plan. The last day to pay the trip in full is on Friday, March 10, 2017. There will be no exceptions made as this is a non-school sponsored event and the rules were set in place by both Disneyland and USA Student Travel. The contract that you signed and completed in October already stated this. If you have not been making payments to USA Student Travel by credit card, check or money order then I would advise contacting them immediately so that your account is up to date. Do not wait to the very last minute to make a payment and risk not going on the trip. You can contact USA Student Travel by phone: (916) 939-6805 or by e-mail:  www.USAStudentTravel.com. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Abin in room C7.
